About Committee
Sha Tin Arts and Culture Promotion Committee was established under Sha Tin District Office, Home Affairs Department in June 2013 aiming at promoting arts and cultural activities in Sha Tin. It organizes various arts and cultural activities for Sha Tin residents in order to enrich community lives in the district.
The Committee is planning to hold diverse arts and cultural activities such as concerts, drama as well as parade. Please stay tuned!
Concept of logo
A ribbon was twisted into a dancing lady to represent the Chinese word “沙” (Sha). The radical of “沙” represents Shing Mun River. The green background implies the Chinese word “田” (Tin).
